Are you interested in economic opportunity and job security?
If so, Bob Waldrop is inviting you to join him on his latest out-of-the-box adventure -- the Oklahoma Worker Cooperative Network. This cooperative will help people start their own worker-owned cooperatives to provide good secure jobs for themselves and their friends. By joining this coop, you show your support for the birth of a local “economy of solidarity” rooted in the entrepreneurial visions of Okies working within the cooperative structure. Eight years ago, Bob said, “Local food is the next big thing in groceries” – and he was right. Bob is now saying – “worker cooperatives are the next big thing in employment”. We're betting he's right on that too, and we invite you to join us. Visit us online and learn how the Oklahoma Worker Cooperative Network can benefit you! http://www.okie.coop . Everyone is invited to a social evening, Tuesday, December 6th, 630 PM, at Carpenter Square Theater, 800 W Main in OKC, potluck refreshments, cash bar. We are also presenting an all day CooperWorkershop January 14, for groups interested in starting worker coops.
