I have had a lifelong obsession with making things. The act of creating fills a need. It soothes the rough edges and is an extension of who I think I am. I like to experiment in many different mediums. I am inspired by nature, spirituality and friends. Creating stuff is a calming, peaceful activity. My husband Mark and I live in Oklahoma City. Mark and I are both songwriters and musicians and we have a working band called 13 Seeds. My daughter, Lindsay Yancey makes jewelry too. She is now part of Buglightfaeries. I use as many recycled products as I can find for my craftwork. I am a firm believer in reuse, recycle, reclaiming and buying locally, however sometimes that is difficult for a crafter to do. I care about my customers and if you are unhappy, I will try my best to take care of you! I warrant that all my descriptions are accurate. I strive to take the best quality pictures that I can. My jewelry and my charms are guaranteed from manufacture defect for 90 days from the date of purchase. Regardless of the time-frame, please send me an email if you ever have problems with your pieces. I'd really like to know these things. And I may be able to repair the piece for you. If you have a problem with any clasp - email me! I can change out a clasp easily enough. I'd much rather you be happy with the pieces that I make then to let them sit in a drawer not worn and unloved. All my botanicals are fully disclosed. If you have any problems, please send me an email. If you have purchased scented botanicals, the scent will fade over time. I list refresher oils seasonally. All art work is subjective in nature. Order number of packages. Mark made a blend of Sage and Cedar, both grown on family land near Geary, Oklahoma. No pesticides or herbicides. Then, he added Lavender and powdered Copal. The scent is earthy. No charcoal necessary. Just take a small pinch, about the size of small marble and roll into a ball, then place in an incense-safe-burner and ignite.
