About Us
Last summer with a dear friend by my side I embarked on an adventure. Having always wanted to participate in the local farmers market I decided to plant a larger garden and sell my produce. I eagerly planted my onions and the market opened. Not wanting to sit on my hands we decided to bake bread and other goodies until our harvest came in. Every week we were amazed at the number of people wanting baked goods and we were so busy I never got back to the garden again. Other than my tiny onions and the few herbs that I pot planted it was turely a sad sight. But I was too busy to dwell on it----I had things to bake! My husband Tonny is such a good sport. He is never thrilled about the lists of things I come up with to do but he never uttered even a whimper when I told him we needed chickens. Once he realized how many eggs I would go through in a week the cage was loaded in the truck and we were on our way to being poulty famers! Now with one season behind us we are looking forward to this new season as we will be doing both the Oklahoma Food Co-op and the Norman Farmers Market. Baked goods are our main focus at this time. My favorite bread to make is challah. It makes such a pretty loaf and is so versital. We also make several other types of bread and most other baked goods. We will be offering special doughs that can be risen in your home so you can have fresh baked goodies anytime. Also cookies, biscotti, soups, rice side dishes and deserts and many other dry mixes. Different spice mixes will also be available in the coming months along with our own vanilla, lemon, orange and lime extracts. .
