Whole Wheat Bread made with Oklahoma wheat & honey and other baked products About Us My name is Libby Faulkner and I grew up on a wheat farm in western Oklahoma. My dad would farm the land and my mother was always busy cooking for everyone. I still own part of this farm. After working for the government for 16 years I decided it was time to return to my first love which is organic gardening and baking. That passion has turned into our full-time business; Golden Grain Farms Bakery & Produce in Ada Ok. We live on 20 acres USDA Certified Organic Land and use much of our products in our bakery. We grind Oklahoma wheat for Oklahoma bread, use produce in muffins, pies, jams & jellies, etc. We are open Tues-Frid-9:00 am to 5:30 pm-ph 580-272-0414. We are very excited to sell and be a partner with the Oklahoma Food Coop. We have 5 grown children & 6 grandkids. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) We use our USDA Certified Organic veggies & produce in some of our baked products when available. Highlights this Month Febuary 2012 is our first month to sell through the coop. We will be offering 100% Honey Whole Wheat Bread (made with organic Oklahoma wheat) and Apple Carrot Flaxseed Muffins made with Organic apples, carrots, & flour.
