Product Types: An ANNUAL publication designed specially for Oklahoma vegetable growers. Keep your own records, plus an extensive reference section.

About Us
Oklahoma Organic Garden Planner combines record-keeping, extensive garden-related references, plus an organizer. This publication was created with the small-scale food producer in mind, i.e. those raising vegetables & herbs for themselves and their family. It developed out of a desire to organize, track, & improve our own efforts at this type of growing in the central state area. Believing we're no different than many other backyard gardeners across the country, we try to feature ideas & information important to all, yet localize it with knowledge gained from our experience raising vegetables & herbs in this part of the country.

Ingredients
Oklahoma Organic Garden Planner contains several areas of information to assist with home food production -- all using safe, organic products & practices. The introductory section gives a brief overview of how you may use this publication to best advantage.

The heart of this work I have named a "Calmanary". It's part CALendar, alMANac, & diARY. This section contains astrological data and weather records to help with both short- & long-range growing strategies. Includes plenty of room to record what, when, & how you perform a garden-related task. Note successes as well as failures -- you learn from both. This approach permits you to plan for the entire gardening season & stay organized all along the way. Thus, you can accomplish all you want without doing too much at one time.

The appendix is an extensive reference area with all sorts of useful information: growing charts & tables; plant, tool, & supply lists; efficient, organic techniques; contact info for seed companies & garden suppliers; a gardeners glossary; etc.

The final section contains several custom-made forms to aid with record-keeping, planting & purchasing strategies, and task organization.

Many similar products currently exist. However none include data on local growing conditions. Such information is crucial to gardening success. Some people swear by planting with moon signs, while others swear at it (grin). So I felt obliged to include this information & let you decide. And I've yet to find one with such extensive references to permit the user to do further research on their own. That's one of things we believe sets this work apart from others -- it's informative, yet can be personalized to fit your own situation.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
All information is thoroughly researched from a variety of reputable sources & reflects Central Oklahoma growing conditions. IT IS UPDATED ANNUALLY, as contact information for suppliers changes, new research is published, new products become available, etc.

As you can tell from the title, I avoid man-made products. Call it what you will -- LISA (Low-Input Sustainable Agriculture), natural gardening, organics, respect for the environment - it's the only way I do things. Make sure you know what goes into anything that goes in your soil or on your crops, 'cause it all eventually goes into you!

If for any reason you are not satisfied with this product, please contact us direct as soon as possible. We will do whatever we can to resolve things to your satisfaction including, but not limited to, refund or exchange. If you do prefer a refund, just request it and I will send you a check or arrange with the Co-op to credit your account the following month. HAPPY GARDENING!
