 Faerie Dust Necklaces

Little bottles filled with faerie dust for a fun, sparkly treat. We've also heard it called Angel Blessing Dust, but ours is Faerie Dust.
What's faerie dust? Well, it's powdered dried faeries of course! (Not really. It's polyester microglitter.) The general idea of faerie dust is that you sprinkle a pinch here and there to attract faerie blessings (guidance, balance, joy, etc). Do whatever you feel inspired to do with it.
Wire-wrapped with copper, goldtone, or silvertone wire and hung on a 22" black waxed cotton cord with a standard clasp.
Shown in the photo are red, gold, white, light green, bright blue, and light blue. We also have dark green and silver. Please state your preference in the message to seller or we can just pick randomly for you.

 Gemstone Bottles

Little bottles of gemstone chips, to be played with or used for meditation or prayer. Some people believe that various kinds of stones have different types of energies, others like a physical reminder of their goals or just like the gemstone in and of itself.
The chips are drilled for stringing should you like to wear them on a bracelet, earring, etc. They can also be carried in the pocket, purse, or simply placed in a dish for a tactile experience during meditation or prayer.
The bottles are temporarily labelled with the name of the stone.
If desired (and at no extra charge) the bottle can be wire-wrapped (choose copper, silvertone, or goldtone wire) and strung on a 22" long cord necklace with a standard clasp. This coral comes from a plant coral known as "bamboo coral". The pink colour is natural, and comes from the part of the coral that is buried beneath the sand.

Clear rock crystal tumbled nuggets make beautiful pendants. Many of these have "healed", meaning that they experienced an earthquake while forming, and then continued to form and fill in the fractures with new crystal. The resulting lines resemble crackled glass and reflect the light as if they were internally faceted.

Crystal points, probably from Arkansas, but I did not collect these so I cannot say for sure where they came from.
I have quite a few that I collected from the Sweet Surrender mine in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, in sweltering 115 degree heat, and if you would rather have one of those I will be happy to use one of them instead. Just let me know in the comments to seller.

Tiger Eye is a form of quartz. It has a flash of colour known as "chatoyancy", which is caused by a certain alignment of its crystalline fibers.

Chinese (probably) turquoise in a teardrop-shaped nugget. These are clearly hand-carved and some have areas where, rather than make the piece smaller, the worker left "raw" places alone.
Some people find the more natural, rugged look to be a pleasant change from machine made perfection, while others do not care for it. We can accomodate both kinds of people here, so let us know if you have a preference.

Zoisite is a corundum, the same family as rubies and sapphires. It is often found with ruby streaks; some of these pendants have a smudge of ruby but most do not. The black spots are a mineral called Hornblende.
Please note there are two shapes available. Choose from the flat rhomboid shape or the teardrop shape. The flat shape is not as shiny as the teardrop, and is probably not as hard as the teardrop shape (doubtless they come from different locations). If you do not specify, we will pick whatever comes to hand first.

Fox was composed one late summer afternoon when I was captivated by a smell in the air that reminded me of the scent given off by decomposing leaves. Cinnamony, yet earthy in its spiciness. I think some of it was the scent of the sap running in the poplar trees, an ambery note I found irresistable.
Comprised of 13 ingredients (no magical meaning, I just stopped adding things when it "got" there), Fox unfolds in many layers, a result of the different burning properties of the ingredients. Ironically, this blend does not contain what I seem to have been smelling all day - poplar buds (Balm of Gilead).
Because of its complexity, I named it after the Red Fox. I imagine him peeking out from a hollow log surrounded by fallen leaves, perhaps as he is just waking up from his afternoon nap.

This blend combines ground patchouli with sandalwood, cedarwood, vetiver, benzoin, and other herbs, and patchouli essential oil to get a clean, bright 100% natural patchouli that "pops", more like the smell when you first open a bottle of the essential oil.
It minimizes patchouli's characteristic hemp smell, using that feature of this herb as a heart note rather than a curse, and while the scent lingers heavily, it fades away like dusky shadows with no bitterness.
