While Dan was happily planting and Charlotte was making soap the soap hobby quietly turned into The Laughing Rabbit Soap Co. almost before we realized what was happening. That was almost twenty years ago and we're still going strong! We combine quality ingredients with herbs and essential oils with love, knowledge, and the experience that twenty years has to offer. Our products are wonderful for anyone with dry sun damaged skin or for anyone that just wants and needs a little extra tender loving care. It has been an enjoyable and educational journey combined with the satisfaction of providing a long-lasting quality product. Contact us if you're interested. www.lrsoaps.com Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients The base for most of our soaps is the same: Olive oil, coconut oil, palm kernal flakes, and soy shortening blended together with lye water to which raw silk has been added. As we all know there is NO lye in the final product. What you now have is a wonderfully moisturizing long-lasting bar that is 3/4 soap and 1/4 glycerine that has a very rich and silky lather. Handcrafted soaps naturally last 2 to 3 times longer than most commercial varieties. Order number of jars. This is a balm that works wonders on dry or damaged skin. The “base” is coco butter, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil and beeswax. We selected five specific essential oils for their medicinal abilities: rose, rosemary, tea tree, sandalwood and lavender. The final additions are emu oil to carry the oils into the tissues, hemp oil as a skin cell regenerative and finally vitamin E.
