About Us
Hadaway Farms grows mainly iris with a sprinkling of daylilies and other flowers. Plus several horses and a yard full of cats. I have been growing iris for thirty plus years now. My Mom received some iris from one of our neighbors when I was very young. She liked them so much we joined the local iris society shortly after seeing them bloom the following spring. We started participating in the Edmond Iris Club's iris shows when I was about 10 years old, where I entered a flower arrangement and won a blue ribbon. I have been hooked on iris every since. I am a member of The American Iris Society (the national organization for iris growers) and several local clubs. I have been an iris show judge and am currently the treasurer of the Edmond Iris Society.

I have over 1000 varieties of iris which consists of the dwarf to the tall bearded. I also have a few Louisiana iris which grow great in water gardens and ponds. Iris has been a passion of mine for a long time and I hope you find them as beautiful as I do.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
The iris are usually planted with bone meal and super phosphate. In the spring I fertilize with 10-20-10 when they first start growing. When the spring rains come I spray a fungicide several times to prevent disease. For the rest of the year they are usually left on their on.

I dig each order fresh when I receive it. I trim, label, wash, and dry each plant before they are packed into a box for shipping. The iris are guaranteed to be in good health when they are delivered to you. If there is a problem let me know.
