About Us
Pure Prairie Creamery, LLC is an artisan cheese plant located in Ada, OK. Our plant was established to support small local dairys and we are proud of the fact that all of the milk we purchase supports the sustainability of small family farms. We are constantly looking for ways to help new dairys get started and hope that our efforts will allow a few more families the opportunity to stay on the farm.

Our mission statement is: To promote sustainability for small independent dairy farms by adding value to locally produced milk. We are committed to producing enjoyable and nutritious cheeses while using all natural and local ingredients. We will carry out our mission ethically and profitably while constantly striving to promote family farms.

At Pure Prairie Creamery, our all natural cheese is as wholesome as the native prairies of Oklahoma – where wildflowers grow and our goats and cattle graze. Please view our website at pureprairiecreamery.com for more details on our operation and our products.

Ingredients
Absolutely no hormones or antibiotics are used by our producer dairies. Our milk is low heat pasteurized and our ingredients are all natural. No preservatives or coloring is used in any of our cheeses.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
Artisan cheese by definition is produced in small batches, by hand, using traditional production and aging techniques. Our artisan cheeses will naturally cost more than mass produced factory cheeses, but we think you will find the benefits will prove to be well worth the additional cost.

Those benefits include the fact that Pure Prairie’s cheeses are made from fresh, locally produced goat milk and wholesome, all natural ingredients. We think that gives Pure Prairie’s cheeses two unique qualities. Not only will you enjoy the distinct flavors, but it is better for you than the majority of cheeses that are produced in the U.S. today. We hope you will choose our cheeses because they taste great, but encourage you to look at our health benefits page on our website and read our labels.
