We got started making solar space heaters for a couple of reasons. First, because I do not like paying high heat bills in the winter. This is Oklahoma. We have solar access most days so why not use it? Second is ICE STORMS. I don't like being with out heat in the winter. . The original challenge, as some one who lives in a town with a LOT of city codes to design something that was "code free" as well as effective. This unit accomplishes that goal. It's perfect for renters as well since it is designed to be portable and very land lord and home owners association friendly". Our first model is ready to take orders for. It is designed to fit in your window sitting on the sill or shelf or table in front of the window. It is easily removed for the non heating season. Pop one in a south, south east or south west facing window and watch your heat bills go down. Works well in east or west facing windows to get that early morning or late afternoon heat as well. Future lines Our fiber art line comes from me falling in love with working fiber. I went to a county fair and saw the fiber arts booth. The minute I tried that first spindle I was hooked. Considering you can make practical items you can use your self or sell, I find it very satisfying and economical. The fiber tools we make are all made here at the house by us. We never use lead based paint in our wood products. Solar items are are "heat treated" by exposing them to the sun to allow any fumes from paint and adhesives to be exhausted prior to delivery. Fiber items are hand processed using safe every day cleansers and elbow grease. Acids are never used in processing our wool. Each fleece is hand picked and every bit of seen vegetable matter is removed with an on occasional tiny bit of vegetable matter, that may still be in the fiber, Fiber tools are either unfinished or finished, as listed, using safe stains, varnishes and polyurethane depending on which item you order. Once you know you want the custom item let me know and I will make a special product number available for you to order through coop. Each item is handcrafted and there for subject to the normal issues of hand crafted items. We do not use a lot of machinery n making the products especially wood items. Every once in awhile mishaps happen in spite of the strict quality control we have set in place to prevent this. If you are not satisfied with an item, due to a defect, email me for return / repair / replacement arrangements. It is my option to correct the defect or replace it. Repaired or replaced items will be delivered using the same delivery method as original order. < NON defective returnsNo refunds on custom orders unless it is an items I an easily resale or defective. Then it must include original packaging and in resale able condition. Custom items non refundable include, fiber art items such as having someones name or birth date woven, felted or dyed into an item. If it is my mistake, such as the wrong name, date or spelling, I will replace it. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to the refund of NON defective items. Shipping charges and coop handling charges are non refundable on non defective items. |

Order number of items. For those who have tile or other types of window frames that our standard screw in hooks would not be appropriate for, we offer a set of very strong suction cup hooks. Order 1 per unit you need. If ordering more then one space heater but fewer suction cup hooks please let us know in comments which one you do not need the standard hooks for. Order number of foots. After measuring the distance between the two points you want to screw the safety chains into, deduct the width of the unit plus the 2 foot of chain that comes standard with each unit ordered, Order 1 unit of chain for each additional foot required. Chains will be sent with equal lengths on each side. They will be delivered with your unit. These are ONLY sold to buyers who have purchased our solar space heaters. Order number of items. This kit allows you to place your heater on the floor in front of a window instead of placing it in the window. Great option for those living with home owner association rules. Slant is set at 50 degrees for Oklahoma. If you are ordering this for out of state use, make comment including state or latitude if known in notes to producer and I will adjust the angle at no extra costDue to coop delivery size limits it comes in a separate box. Extra hardware is included. Units ordered with this kit have attachment holes pre-drilled. Needs a Phillips screw driver to attach.
